An Acorn Without a Hat
An Acorn Without a Hat is a children’s picture book written by Sofia Papalouka and illustrated by Ziyi (Zoe) Xu, created for readers aged 5–8. The book will be published by Patakis Publishers in Greece in 2026.
The story follows a small acorn who discovers that its cap has gone missing and sets off on a gentle journey through the forest. Along the way, it meets different woodland creatures and encounters small moments of kindness, sharing, and friendship.
Illustrations from this project received a Merit Award at the iJungle Illustration Awards 2025.
